Were are the volcanos in France?

Were are the volcanos in France?

In the region called "Massif central" and situated in the center of the country. The nearest large city is called Clermont Ferrand, where Michelin is headquartered.

All the vulcanoes are still but no one can be sure they won't reactivate some day...

Do you mean Where are the volcanos in Frances? Don't know if there are any.

You're both wrong. Frances is just an assumed name and it's just the water heater blew up one winter many years ago.

"les volcans"

Here's a bonus: those in Germany are called:

"die Vulkane"

But I don't want to be unfair to them big uns in Holland:

"de vulkanen"

That's all I do hope you're happy.

Try the Massif Central.

They are not active.

I know of one volcano in France. It is located in Reunion, an overseas department of France. It is called "Piton de la Fournaise", and is an active volcano.

cheers!

You can find them in the Massif Central (Center of the country), or in the French Overseas Departments (Guadeloupe, Martinique and la R茅union).

The Auvergne

The Massif Central.
I actually learned this last night on TV, I was watching TIVO from last years Tour de France, stage 18 or 19 and Phil Ligett was talking about the Massif Central as the riders were riding through and commenting on that it was a dormant volcanoes that were now the hills and mountains of the region, there was some crazy number of them (dont recall how many he said).
