Who on this site has been to ''Churchill, Manitoba'' to see the Polar bears? |
My idea for a 2nd honeymoon has fallen out...and I just came up with this idea while answering another question.So.....who's been there? My friend has been. She said it is AWESOME ! Very cold, obviously, and rather expensive, but WELL worth it. The artic buggies get really close to the bears, without being intrusive - the bears often come up to the buggy to sniff the humans ! And she said the eskimo culture is fascinating too. GO ! Take pics - and share them !! me. Its gorgeous up in Northern Manitoba. I've never been. But I do have friends who live in Churchill and surrounding areas. They have sent me pictures and video's of the polar bears and other fun stuff. In my own opinion it's a opportunity of a lifetime!!! If you have a chance too go I say DO IT!!!! |
