I'll be on vacation. What places can I visit in Winnipeg?

I'll be coming from Manila going Toronto then proceed to Winnipeg. I've been in many places in Toronto 2 years ago and wants to appreciate Winnipeg this time. Any suggestions?

If you go around town you can find some of the places where they shot scenes for the movie Capote, for one, if you like ice cream there is a place called the BDI (bridge drive in) Where they serve ice cream with actual cream, there are also the river boats, one of them being the Paddle Wheel Queen, for people watching is one thing that may be enjoyable, The Winnipeg art Gallery might have something going on. If not it's a nice place to visit for the inuit sculptures.

Osbourne village during the day is a nice walk and during the Canada festivities is also fun. If you like wedding watching at all, the parks tend to almost always have some photos being taken in them as well as the Legislature.

Odd as it may sound the law courts are a sort of interesting place to visit if anything for the older part of the building and the really beautiful older architechture though you would need to follow the rules of the building.

Museums may be good for an afternoon as well, I haven't been to one for a while and there are a few around the city, the Electrical one, the Museum of Man and Nature. I hope I have helped at all.

Go to the Forks and enjoy the river walk it takes you down to the legislative building, walk through Osborne village, there are some good shops there. If you like casinos there is Mcphillip street station and regent casino.
There is the Fort Whyte Centre, Oak Hammock marsh they are nature hikes. The is Assiniboine park and Assiniboine Zoo..
