What is a good cheap way to explore new zealand, particuarly the south island, from wellington? |
going to be on a budget.... Take the Interisland ferry http://www.interislander.co.nz from Wellington to Picton and jump on a bus! Stand at the side of the road and wave a thumb. It may not be the safest way, but it works for some (and some get murdered) . |

As long as you have a full drivers license, you don't drink and drive and you're mature, I don't thin...
