What's the best restaurant in wellington?

Going to Wellington soon. Looking to take my children (5 and 11) to a really nice restaurant. Any ideas?

There is a new waterfront restaurant called the Herd Street Brasserie with international cuisine that is very nice !

The Logan Brown is a great restaurant, although fairly expensive.

If you are looking for a good family restaurant, I suggest the Fisherman's Table buffet restaurant around at the Oriental Bay Beach, Wellington. All you can eat cost about $13.95 per person and you get a great view across the harbour of Wellington City. I've eaten there several times and always enjoy the experience.

Hard to beat.

When you ring to make a booking, ask about child size dinners, and child menus.
