How long would it take to get from an airport in NC to get to Wellington,NZ? |
We are to be staying a month in NZ,so would we leave the day before the first,or two days before the first to get there on the first? We are going to be staying from March1-31.Any info would be great. It takes about 6-7 hours to fly from NC to Los Angeles which is probably where you will be flying out from. Then the flight from Los Angeles to Auckland NZ can take about 15 hours provided you don't have a stop over. When you fly to NZ from the states you will fly into Auckland and then have to fly from Auckland to Wellington which is an hour long flight. Just for a hypothetical example, lets say you left the states on Friday the 3rd you would most likely arrive in NZ on Sunday the 5th, you won't have been traveling for 2 days it is just the time difference. NZ is a day ahead of NC time. So you will lose a day when you fly here but then gain it back when you go back home. It took me about 19 hours to get from Greensboro to Fukuoka, Japan, so it will probably take you about 22 hours, at least. |
