Does anyone know how to get cheep tickets to New Zealand?

definetly contact the airlines directly, they genreally have cheaper fares on the web, I Live in AUS at the moment and am planning on moving to NZ-Auckland to be infact and have certainetly found that its a fair bit cheaper to go on the web, but of course this depends on when you're wishing to go.

Actually.. there is no CHEAP place..... You cannot drive.. that is OUT.. taking a boat is more expensive than flying.. thus.. that leaves flying. All those companies, i.e. cheap flight.com; travelocity.com, etc etc are all MORE expensive than contacting an airline directly. You might consider flying out of LA by New Zealand Air and another airline, i.e. Southwest from your location to LA.. that might Be the cheapest method

It depends where you are travelling from.

There is an airline called freedom air which flies between Australia and NZ which often has great deals.

Also Pacific Blue and Jet Star - both trans-Tasman budget airlines.
