I want to study in New Zealand and am from USA, would you all recommend against it or for it? |
I currently live in USA, and am considering going to study in New Zealand. How would you all rate NZ? Boring, fun, pretty, ect... Well, we live in NZ and our daughter in law comes from the States. She came here to study for a year and married our son, who was also studying at a NZ university. She did the final year of her degree in the States and he did his in Canada. I'd recommend you go ahead. Studying overseas is a really good idea. I came here from Britain to study at university and ended up settling in NZ. There are a lot of overseas students at NZ universities including many Americans. Good luck. I did an extramural degree at Massey, while living here, in the far south. I had to go up there for several vacation courses. It's in Palmerston North, about 80 miles from Wellington. It's a nice campus. You'll like it. Report It Ohhh dang. I want to study abroad in France. I would go for it personally! Throw another shrimp on the barbie' New Zealand is a very nice place. Heaps to do with sports, and a very clean country. It is cold at this time of the year. Their universities are full of students from the world over. Lots of Pacific Islanders live there... I see no reason why you should not study there..... I'm a Kiwi - that's what we New Zealanders call ourselves! For it! Beautiful & exciting. Tons of things to do. If you want to be a teacher, it's a great place to train. They need teachers in New Zealand. You might be able to wrangle a scholarship! New Zealand is gorgous! I visited there a couple years ago. I would love to go back. Rotorua was my favorite place. It is very beautiful and has cool museums. You should do it! If you don't you may regret it when you are older. New Zealand is a wonderful place! It is magnificently beautiful, unspoiled, the people are polite, the culture is politely British. It is a great opportunity, go for it! You will not be disappointed. Follow your dreams... For it! a couple of links you may find useful. Terms like 'Boring' should not be in your vocabury as that is a state of mind. |
