Can any one tell me the cheapest airline deal flying UK to new zealand?

I've just booked myself a flight from NZ to Europe for NZ$2300 for June, which is a good deal for that time of year, I got it through my travel agent and will be flying Thai Air.

You have 4 choices - Air New Zealand, Qantas, British Airways, or Continental.

Air New Zealand seems cheaper, but it depends on when you are going. A quick search for May 10 thru May 24 from London to Auckland gives approx. $975 on Air New Zealand.

There's probably a better deal out there somewhere.

It all depends on the time of year. I got a special with BA, but it depends when you need to fly. Keep looking around at different travel agencies because they can offer different specials according to their relationship with the airline.

So much depends on when you want to fly, how old you are, whether you can fly at short notice, from which airport you want to start, how flexible you are with stopovers and routing, whether you travelling alone or with a companion, etc etc. Presumably you are looking for flights out of the UK so I suggest you try a website like www.cheapflights.co.uk (I've seen flights listed there for as low as GBP500 return). Another place to try is 'Trailfinders' which is a UK based agent. They have extensive knowledge of the Australian/New Zealand market and may be able to offer flights with substantial discounts. Also try the courier companies; they offer discounted flights to people willing to accompany packages on flights.
