Port and lager?

Port L谩irge - Can anyone tell me what the name means?

I've also seen it spelt Phort L谩irge - what's the story?

And what's the correct pronunciation?

And what's your favourite cheese?

And, and...thanks.

Port Lairge = Bank or landing place at the side of the hill

Favorite Cheese - Kilmeaden Cheese (Used to be made in Waterford) Still very nice though
Nothing to do with Larger I'm afraid but Guinness do have a Brewery in Waterford Port!
