Can anyone help me in tracing my Grandfather? |
His name was John Lawson, he was born in Waterford, left there aged 16 to go to America, drifted around for a few years before returning across the Atlantic. He would have been born around 1870-1880. Just wondering if there are any Lawsons out there in Waterford and surrounding area? I ran a quick search on the below site, using a birth year of 1875 +/- 5 years, born in England. There were 61 possible hits. Have you tried using Genes Reunited? You can look at Census, birth, death and marriage records, and share info with other people who have the same family names. It's good fun too! |
