How long is a concert? |
Me and my best friend are going Thursday to the Spice girls concert in DC at the verizon center. It starts at 7:30, but doesnt have a end time, what time you think it would end. Only reason I ask, is because we want to ride the metro, but the metro closes at midnight, and I dont want to be stuck in DC if we get out of the concert too late! My guess is that you'll be fine. The concerts I've been to only run about 1 1/2 to 2 hours with very few going into 3 hours. I'd say just watch the time and if for some reason the show is running late, you'll know you'll have to leave early in order to make it to catch the metro in time. Have fun at the show!! About 90 minutes to two hours is right. I doubt the Spice Girls will go to three hours though. If you're going to ride the metro, go to the Chinatown station, it comes out almost under the Verizon Center (or the 'Phone Booth' as I like to call it). I didn't know there were in town. The concerts are set up to accommodate metro riders. Otherwise people would not come, as parking in that area is terrible. The concert will certainly not be 4 and a half hours long. |
