Any ideas on things to do in Maryland?

Hi. I wanted to know if there are any fun things do in Maryland (Baltimore, Hanover) other than shop. I鈥檓 visiting in the summer with the whole family, and was thinking maybe mini golf or theme parks anything entertaining or different.

There is a Hanover in Maryland.... Dear. There are alot in the U.S. try googling something before you try to be a smart ***(PSF11).

There is Great Adventure Theme Park down near DC along the Beltway.

Baltimore has some great museums, including the science museum, the Maritime Museum, the National Aquarium, the Children's museum, the inner harbor.

Ft. McHenry, where the STar Spangled Banner was written, and the Star Spangled Banner House, where the flag was sewn, are interesting and great for kids.

And of course you can take in a baseball game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

DC of course is also near by.

P.S. There is a Hanover in Maryland, too, just south of Baltimore.

Laurel Park, take the family to watch
horse racing.

Also day trips can be made to Hershey PA (Hershey Park). Or Gettysburg (civil war battlefield).

Less than an hour to the south is Washington DC.

There's a great aquarium in Baltimore Inner Harbor.

Also Baltimore has great are museums. Walters Art Gallery and Baltimore Museum of Art.

go see some monuments

you should go to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore.
they recently had a car show at the convention center
and it was awesome!Baltimore is a really good city,I think i've fallen in love with it.
But yeah the Inner Harbor is fun, there is the National Aquarium, the Hard Rock Cafe is right next to it, and there is a place called ESPN Zone for your husband if you are married.Oh and there is a Barnes and Nobles bookstore with a Starbucks in it too.
Near the Maryland Science Center(also in the Inner Harbor) is this lil mall.I don't remember the name of it but it's got this really great 50s looking restaurant.

I work in Hanover Maryland... so I know it's really there ! Not too much to do there except shop at Arundel Mills... they have a huge Muvico Multi cinemas and a Medieval Times ! Stick to Baltimore for excitement !

Inner Harbor, National Aquarium

Hanover does have great shopping (I knew there was a Hanover, MD, been there lots and with Arundel Mills Mall it IS a travel destination).

You'll have a ton of things to do. Baltimore has a ton of places. There is a 6 flags in Largo, which isn't too far from Baltimore - or Hershey Park a bit further (but my personal preference).

Mini golf is surprisingly scarce.

Make sure it eat at the Hon diner, see the visionary art musuem, and go up the World trade building.

Have fun!!

there tons to do and see contacted the Baltimore visitor center they help you. most thing if you have kids are with in walking distenses
