Does any one knows how many hours it takes to drive from Was DC to Boston?? and what is the best way to drive? Depending on how you drive and traffic it can take 8 to 10 hours. Generally it takes me eight hours. One time, on a really good day it took me six. Another time it took me twelve. There's two ways you can do this neither one of which will get you stuck on The Cross Bronx or the Hutch It is an even 400 miles as the crow flies--it CANNOT be done in six hours. Eight to ten is correct. Mr. Danger's #2 is best way. You could do Julie's route going over the GW bridge only late at night--but I bet you get lost doing it the first time. And you won't save much time. I-95thruBaltimore to Delaware Mem. Bridge >NJTPK Exit 10>GSP>I-287 over Tappan Zee>I-684 thru Brewster>I-84thruHartford>I-90MassPike. Make sure you have an EZ-Pass if possible. Leave DC at 10 AM or after 8pm (if possible). The best post is TheDurk's suggestion for the E-Z Pass ... it will save you alot of time, as you won't have to stop at all the toll booths along the way, where there are often long lines, esp. in Delaware. |
