What should i wear to the white house ?

I am going to a tour for the white house in washington dc over the weekend and im not to sure if i should get dressed up or not.

Assuming you're talking about the public tour, then no need to get dressed up. Most visitors are tourists wearing jeans and a short or pants and a sweater. You'll likely be outside for a while, so dress warm.

Have fun!

nice black suit and straight black dress pants and white under shirt

unisex

Tiger Striped Hotpants.

Big G digs the hotpants.

wait til Bill gets back in there and then wear a smile

If you do not have advance tickets someone from your group will have to go quite early in the AM to stand in line to get the tickets. (when I was there one year in May I was in line at about 5:30 AM and the line was already long - by 6:30 it was around the building.

It is not the White House where you get the tickets, the tickets you do get though have a time you are scheduled for the tour.

Something that not many people go to see that really is quite interesting is the Library of Congress - it's behind the Capitol Building and next to the Supreme Court.

Just be comfortable. If you are walking around the mall, you will need to be comfy because the area is huge. The first time I did a mall tour, I estimated I walked 10 miles in one day.
