Virginia/Richmond area clubs D.C too?

I am planning a nice girl's night out and we (all of us) are not into the rap/hip hop crap i like techno/house/80's etc. music... Wondering what site to go to to evaluate clubs or know of any good clubs to go to. Prefferibly gay club if possible so we don't get hit on by creepy men ( My sister is 18 and i don't wanna deal with that ) It'll be my first time going to a club so... kinda nervous just want to have a good night out :)

Here are some sites about nite clubs in D.C. with info about clientele, cover charges, types of music, patron reviews, etc. and most importantly, given your sister's age, if the club has a 21+ age limit (which most do). The newest gay dance club in the District is Town (but I believe its 21+ to enter as is the popular monthly BLOWOFF dance party at the nearby 9:30 Club).
