Those who live in DC, are there any apartments thats available for 300 to 400 a month.? only if you are willing to turn into a crack whore. I highly doubt it. You'd be lucky to pay that for one night in a hotel in DC. You're kidding right? Outside of DC about 2 hours away you might find an apartment that cheap, but even that's a stretch. Try renting a room? Some people rent out rooms in their homes. Or find a friend and split rent with them. There might be, but I wouldn't want to live in one.....you might try sharing a house in VA or MD, but even still....... Thats not going to happen, you do realize that DC and surrounding areas are one of THE most expensive areas to live in right? Best bet would be to consider sharing an apartment or sharing a house. There are many rooming houses. Even so, I can't imagine you will find something that price inside the district which will be convenient and also safe. You may need to sacrifice one or the other. Try sharing a place in Arlington/Alexandria, VA or on the MD side Takoma Park/Hyattsville. Look on craigslist or the washington city paper under something like "housing to share". If you have a car, consider sharing a place in suburbs even further out. No, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a shared house or apartment where your share of the rent is under $400. I just checked Craigslist (http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/roo/) and there were 172 listings for shared housing for $400 or less. Nope. I'd be very surprised if there were any under $1000 that were inhabitable. there are some But the neighborhoods and even the buildings are not fit for law abiding humans Sadly, no. You can't even rent a room in a house for that amount. |
