What do I wear to Washington DC to meet senators?

I am going to represent my school to my states senators and congress men. What do I wear when I go meet them?

Men: A decent conservative suit, with a beige or white shirt, in either a brown, black or navy blue, would do fine.

Women: The same basic colors, as we want to concentrate on a traditionally business atmosphere.

This will be favorable for either sex.

Wear a suit and tie, with appropriate belt, shirt, shoes, etc.

suit (pin stripe is my fave) a nice tie matching shoes and socks. Think of it as a buisnass meeting. Congratulations and good luck.

wear a suit and a tie because its a formal occasion and the senators mostly wear that stuff anyways.

Dark suit such as navy blue, gray oxford, white shirt and a solid color tie. Such be simple but very professional

* do not wear bright or flamboyant colors

* have your hair well groomed

* do not chew gum

* always shake hands when you're greeted by each and
everyone of them

* always keep good eye contact and address the audience
with a positive expression

* speak up with a clear voice so everyone can hear you
speak and address any and all questions with an educated
response

As you are a boy the best choice is a nice suit with a collar shirt and tie. If you do not have a suit, then a nice pair of pants, shirt and tie. No sneakers.
