Moving to the virgin islands how can i protect electronic equipment?

tvs ampliphiers players etc.

I have moved many times in my life and bubble wrap is a great way to protect electronic equipment, mirrors, dishes etc. Or you can go to the UPS store and have them wrap your electronics for moving. More expensive but prehaps cheaper in the long term.

since you are moving to the USVI check out this site for more ideas regarding packing and shipping all kinds of info.

Good luck)

assuming your stuff survives the trip, the VI is death on electronics........first of all, no place is more than a mile from the sea, so the air is always warm moist and filled with salt................so make sure wherever you are set up has a relatively clean dry de-humidified or A/C atmosphere; if you're a musician driving around from gig to gig consider a Pelican case or the equivalent.

The other death on electronics is the local power supply.....it varies from 55-60 Hertz, and 108 to 130 volts, with random power surges, spikes and power outages the norm. You MUST have A #1 surge protectors or even better a UPS to damp out surges before they blow the electronics.
