I am planning 10 day trip to St Croix USVI, the ferry service is shutdown, no crususe ships go there, what ??

is it safe there, whats going on?

St. Croix is not a bad place to visit. It's more of a quiet island. If you are looking to relax, then that's the place for you to go. If you like snorkeling, you can go into Christiansted and take the boat over to Buck Island. There's also a casino on the island. If you are interested, hopefully you will have access to a vehicle because no public transportation goes up there. Compared to St. Croix, St. Thomas is more developed and more of the tourist attraction.

Yes ago, Carnival used to come to St. Croix. Due to the crime that was going on at the time, they discontinued their services to the island. Disney Cruises will be stopping in St. Croix as of next year.

Like any other place, St. Croix has crime. Not that much crime. Hopefully you will enjoy.

Being that the ferry service is suspended right now, you can always take the seaplane to St. Thomas and spend the day there, or you can island hop from St. Thomas to Tortola.

Hope You Have Fun.

i spent last summer in st. croix and its amazing... as long as u use common sense you'll be fine. If you have time definitely go scuba diving... they have an intro one and it was so fun! also do the tan tan jeep tours its unlike any other island tour... and yes there are sea planes if you want to do a little island hoping. have fun!

Its' a very safe place as any other place to travel ,there's lots to do . i always enjoy myself , you can also take different day trips for instance to buck island ( many hotels have water sports) night life in Christainsted was fun. i stay at chenay bay beach resort cabin overlooking the ocean , walking distance to the beach.
