How I will get to veracruz?

Well this question goes with my last one.I will be driving From Veracruz , Veracruz to Cancun.I live in mississippi and im moving to Veracruz , Veracruz For vacation for 4 months.And I wanted to travel to cancun cause I heard they had the best Beaches there.So can anyone give me a sum of how long they think it will take to get from Veracruz , Veracruz to Cancun?I just need a some of hours.It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can reply with a straight answer.

The road trip from Veracruz to Cancun will take you one overnight. The mileage is approximately 1025 miles depending on the route you take. If your going to Cancun just for the beaches you might want to try Cd. del Carmen (not playa del Carmen) instead. Cd. del Carmen is on one of routes you can take to Cancun, but much closer to Veracruz.

Well traveling by road is kind of harsh because it takes so long, you can get a really unexpensive airline ticket direct from Veracruz to Cancun, around 70 usd one way trip, or maybe thru Toluca you'll have to travel to the center and get a really cheap airline ticket you can check in:

The Mexican Road Dept. has an online route tracer. In Spanish of course, but easy to figure out. Just remember that Cancun is in the state of Quintana Roo.
