What pakaging company can i use to send something from chicago to mexico? |
we r sending clothes to mexico but we are tryingto find the least expensive company ive found for one box it costs three hundred dollars... Americano, El Tornado, and El conejo are all bus lines that will ship boxes from the U.S. to Mexico. They have stations all around the country. Including about four or five in Chicago. You do NOT have to be traveling on the bus but they do have a weight limit on packages. I have found them to be much less expensive than American companies. One more thing is that the package has to be going to a city the bus travels to which is basically everywhere in Mexico. Keep in mind the numbers below are for the stations in Dallas only. check ups.com - usps.com - dhl and fedex tend to be more expensive. Those websites give you the price based on where you are sending from and to, and the weight. $300 sounds like too much, unless it's something huge and heavy. I'll be sending stuff to Argentina and a 40 lb. package costs about $100. It must be cheaper for Mexico. Good luck! uh um yes It will be a bit more expensive because of sending to an international destination which Mexico is, depending on who you finally settle on sending your package with one of the big three, FEDEX, UPS, or DHL(AIRBORNE) would be good choices... DHL is most commonly used where I am. How about the US postal system (assuming you are from there). The smaller the box the better ... maybe more than one?? Label it gift - not clothes. ........ and it's very possible anything/everything will be charged duty on the Mexican end. That means they will have to pay about 20% of the valuation to pick it up. estufeta, dhl, fedex |
