How long does it take to drive from venice to florence. and how far is the leaning tower of pisa from florence

It takes about 2.5 hours to drive from Venice to Florence unless there's heavy traffic - it's autostrada all the way.

It's a little more than an hour from Florence to the Leaning Tower depending on exactly where you're starting from. There are frequent trains from Florence to Pisa that take between 1:04 and 1:22 hr:min and cost 5.40 euro. The Leaning Tower is about a 20 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride from the Pisa Centrale Station. If you're on your own, it's cheaper and more convenient than driving.

OMG
dont listen to him.
I have lived in Aviano, Italy for 3 years (about 1 hour from venice) and it takes 7 hours to get from aviano to florence so from venice it would be about 8. Florence to Pisa is not far at all maybe an hour if even that Pompeii is decently close too.

Yes, the above person is right, it takes MUCH longer than 2.5 hours to get from Venice to Florence.
I am not sure how long it would take by train, but I know the high speed train stops in Florence, that may be a quicker option than driving.
Pisa is about 45 minutes to one hour. You go, see the tower and leave. Pisa is actually a lovely town, I live quite near there, but for touristy type stuff, it is just the tower.
