How much would it cost to rent a car in Venice for 7 days?

Its for a project at my TAFE kinda thing..
Can't seem to find the answer anywhere else!

HELP ME!

Ok, do you mean a car from Venice? Or to park a car in Venice?
We do have this kind of service at Piazzale Roma, that's the place that link us to the mainland (for the rest of it, Venice is all watery canals and little islands that are actually what's called Venice, joined between each other with bridges).
Anyhow, to park a car in Venice is about 21鈧?per day.
To rent a car from Venice, well, we do pay per hours with CarSharing (about 鈧? per hour) or by day with AVIS and HERTZ.

Look up those two.

Hope this helps! =)

HA.. Actually my wife and I did just that last summer.

I'm not sure what the rates are now, but we paid about 900 euro for 13 days. Try going to Hertz.com and choosing Venice as the pickup and dropoff city, it will give you a price.

Hope that helped.

To the people below that say that there are no roads in Venice (have you ever been there?)
There is Old Venice (which is where the canals are and most tourists go) and then there is new venice which is pretty much like any other regular city. So yes, there are cars.

u cant drive cars in venice....venice is all water, and sidewalks....there is not one car in the whole entire city b/c there is no place to put or drive those cars.....instead of cars, people use boats....they have boat buses, and boat taxi's and things like that.....so again, u cannot rent a car in venice. hope i helped :P

some one is pulling your leg. There are no cars in Venice because there aren't any streets.... only canals. Of course you can get around on foot but there is no room for cars.
NOW, you can rent cars in Venice and pick them up just on the edge of the city but you just can't drive 'em in to town.

You can't find a rent-car in Venice because it's all water, auto definitely can't be used. You can rent a car in Mestre, but only if you wanna drive to go to others cities -.-
