Unusual activities in Venice?

I am going to Venice next week and would like to know if anyone has done anything slight out of the ordinary there, the stuff that isn't in the guide books!

I live two hours by train from Venice, and sometimes go there: a nice thing I like to do is walking random among the little lanes, far from the tourist walk. You can't get lost, because you're on an island, and every house in Venice is so peculiar and beautiful! When I walk among these narrow lanes I don't hear the noise of cars and it seems to me to be a part of something so ancient and precious.
Have a nice stay in Venice!

aaaah You worry too much :\

Go to http://www.easydestination.net it provides the information to the travellers about places to see and what to do in venice

Go to Murano, its like a mini Venice with real interesting shops and glass. Eating is also fabulous. To stay within a budget, try the street food-one place for lasagna then another for dessert and the gelatos. Its even fun getting lost down little side alleys and walking at night (its safe) allows you to see the insides of the houses. Saturday night has a great street market near the Scali Bridge.
