Does anybody know anything about the hotel Ca'deldose in Venice?

It's spelled Ca' Del Dose =)

Anyway, it's a cute hotel, I look it up and remembered I saw it once. Not too expensive, that's the mean in Venice. Looks ok even in the inside.
I would suggest you do get a place to stay in Venice, it's much more beautiful than staying in Mestre (that's on the mainland).
Even some 1 star hotel are really nice and have good central positions - you would lowen the price a bit if you're lucky, but it also depends from the season.

Go for it, and don't be afraid of complaining with the owner if something's wrong!

I'm Italian...believe me, don't spend money for hotels in venise, take a room in Mestre, in 15 minutes you are in venice and you spend half money.
