How much should I pay a private water taxi to go from Airport to Hotel near St. Mark's Square? |
Also Can you take a water taxi from a Hotel near St. Mark's Square to the Cruise Terminal. The private water taxis are pretty expensive; you can book one here for 95 euro for up to 4 people: http://www.venicewelcome.com/servizi/tax... A water taxi from San Marco to Stazione Marittima should be a less - it's 55 euro from the train station which is about the same trip as the cruise terminal. From the A/p to St. Marks (on the attached site) approx Euro. 45.00. I would say, from experience, that the ride is anywhere from 60 to 80 Euro. I wouldn't waste my money doing this. The water taxis prey on tourists. Probably about 30Euro. If you walk right past the row of water taxis the water bus is 2Euro. It will drop you off right there. Plus, if the hotel is not on the main canal you won't be dropped off at your hotel. |
