Has anyone worked as a nurse in Dubai???

I am a Grad Nurse from Australia and im considering working as a nurse in Dubai at the American Hospital. It sounds too good to be true with no tax, free accomidation and health insurance. I just wanted to know if there is any tips or anything i should be aware of.

Why it should be too good to be true.

No tax: because the government has too much cash to spend in a too small area and on 1.5 million souls only.

Free accommodation: because Dubai inflation is too high, so to attract people they offer u accommodation because they don鈥檛 want u to stay for short period and then decide to leave the job because of the HIGH inflation.

Health insurance: it is the law in the UAE. Employers must provide health insurance to there employees.

I am not a nurse, but I work in Dubai, and Dubai is the best place in the world to live in. simply because of the lifestyle, people, weather 鈥?except 2 months鈥? and the MONEY.

Though I am not a nurse but for a quite long time I worked in Dubai. it depends on what package you are going there. and what savings you are looking for? Are you going with your family or a bachelor. All these counts.

i'll suggest you use yahoo! answers' search ..

use these key words .. life Dubai

you'll find many useful details

i lived and worked there from 1988-2000, the american hospital is very well known and respected and would be good to work in, they can afford the best nurses . go for it and enjoy the life there.
