I'll be visiting Dubai this coming February by myself, any ideas on things I can do?

I'm mainly going there to talk with employment agencies and look around for my possible migration there. Any ideas on what I can do for fun though? I'll be there for one week.

The weather in this month is nice, so you can do a lot of walking almost any time of the day. I recommend that you take a tour in the Dubai creek by boat. Also there is an area called "bastakiya" that is built to show the shape of Dubai before oil. You can make a short visit to that place as well. There is an old souk (market) that you can visit as well. Try to see other cities while you are there. For example, Sharjah city is just a few kilometers far from Dubai and you can see it, especially the Khalid lake area which is nice.

You can also visit the Global Village which I think will be still operating by that time but not sure. It's an annual event that hosts people from around the world.. there are handcrafts and other interesting things.

Enjoy it and have a nice time!

salaam-peace.

Go sand-skiing. Me and my bf are going this february too and we plan on going sand skiing cos it sounds random and like lots of fun. Also try camel riding, its really cliche but it sounds good.

Quad biking in the desert.
