We are off to Tunisia on Sunday.?

Can anyone tell me what is the weather like at the mo. We are hoping to get a tan.

I'm afraid it's not looking too warm at the moment. Take a look at this web site and see for yourself

Tunis will be about 20 degrees C.at the weekend, it's warm but not tan weather
.

I feel sorry for you - Watch your handbag and securely lock your room. Put all of your valuables in the safe including your passport.

I wouldn't count on getting a tan. I lived there for a year (AMAZING country!!) and it's going to be pretty chilly right now. The temp may not seem so bad, but it's extremely humid so its very damp. The southern desert is the best place if you want to tan right now. Bring a few warm pieces of clothing just in case!! Enjoy!!

It's Africa, love. Shut up boasting and go.

its warmer than england at the mo but not warm enought o tan..sorry.i was there 3 wks ago and was just wearing jeans and tee shirts and a cardigan at night, so its no really baltic ha ha.enjoy yourself...what part are you staying in ??

I live in Monastir and the weather in March is usually like spring in America. You have warm days mixed with some chilly ones. Average temperatures are between 18-23掳C (64-73掳F) and there may be some rain.

Here's where you can check the weather for the area you'll be staying at (please note that if you are staying in Port El Kantaoui, click on the Sousse link as Port El Kantaoui is located in northern Sousse.

Also please see my last question about weather in March and look at the pictures. This is how it has been for the past week: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

I suggest bringing some long sleeved shirts (not too hot), some pants, a sweater or a light jacket, and an umbrella.

The nights are chilly due to the humidity which makes the cold go straight to the bone and makes it feel colder than it really is, so I suggest bringing something warm to sleep in at nights.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Well my parents are telling me that the weather is really nice in Tunisia these days but not hot enough for a tan!!

You will get a tan! I used to go to Sousse area regularly in March (now go later in the year) and never failed to get a tan. The earliest I ever went was 1st week in March. The evenings do get cold though so do take a jacket or cardigan. Have a great time - Tunisia is a fantastic place and the people are wonderful.

Hey, i am just back from sousse-it's a bit chilly at night def need a cardigan or something like that, during the day it was quite changeable but when the sun came out it was really warm all in all had about 5 days of total sunshine which was quite good!!!where are you staying??

i have sent you a link for a few weather websites to check.
