What is it like in tunisia? |
in sousse area Sousse is fun and FULL of things to do! Here is a taste of what Sousse has to offer: Its horrible, dont go,you aren't safe outside of the complex. when i went 2 sousse i thought it was scruffy rough and a bit intimidating.the Medina was very pushy all hassle bu port el kantoue just a few miles away was very different. It depends what you are looking for. If you are wanting decent weather and not wanting to spend a fortune it is fine. We stayed in Port El Kantaoui rather than Sousse itself. i went to tunisia for 5 days a couple of years back and wished I had more time. we had a fantastic time, shopping, sightseeing and swimming. It was a great break for a very reasonable cost. Hassen couldnt be more accurate than she was, go and enjoy all of what tunisia has to offer. PS you will get great deals on pottery and carpets and silver jewellery too. my wife is half tunisian and we used to go regularly to visit her family, who lived on the coast. personally i wouldn't recommend it. it's all a bit low level and cheap and nasty. you would be much better off going to Morocco There's some good inputs here, but there are some interesting areas which tourists would find interesting. Also some of the accommodation is first class. Take a look on the National tourism website: http://www.tourismtunisia.com/ and also the accommodation booking website below : http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com/Tunisia... |
