Will it be warmer enough to wear shorts and string vest top in tunisia in march?

Will it be warmer enough to wear shorts and string vest top in tunisia in march?

In March the weather will be starting to warm up. I live in Monastir (next to Sousse) and the weather in March is usually like spring in America. You have warm days mixed with some chilly ones. Average temperatures are between 18-23掳C (64-73掳F) and there may be some rain.

Here's a sight that gives average high, lows, and precipitations for Monastir (didn't have a site for averages for Sousse, but the two cities are minutes from each other):http://weather.yahoo.com/climo/TSXX0015_...

Here's where you can check out current temps for Sousse, and hopefully that will give you a little idea as to what to expect: http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/TSXX00...

To be fully prepared for the changing weather in March, I suggest bringing some long sleeved (not too hot) & short sleeved shirts, some pants, shorts, a bathing suit (at the minimum you can swim in the hotel pool if the Sea is still too cold for your liking), a sweater or a light jacket, and an umbrella.

The nights are chilly due to the humidity which makes the cold go straight to the bone and makes it feel colder than it really is, so I suggest bringing something warm to sleep in at nights.

If I can be of any more assistance, feel free to contact me.

good morning,
The weather in Tunisia is normally nice, warm enough,an suitable for light clothes ( shorts, tee shirts...) it can be a bit chilly at night.
So it's rather recommended to bring sweater, pants, light jacket.
