Will i need sun tan lotion for Tunisia in March? Going to Sousse?

im visiting the Sahara for 2 days. Anyone done that?

yes i do agree that u will need sun lotion, but i disagree with the rude people saying how bad Tunisia is., i have been in sousse 3 times ( in port el kantaoui) and it is an absolutely lovely place, the people are so friendly and it is such a relaxing environment. i like it so much i have already booked for July for 2 weeks. i hope you have a nice time thee im sure u will xxxxxxxx

Cancel it now, Tunisia is RUBBISH! Seriously, I'm not joking!

I would say so as Tunisia is in North Africa. Never been to the Sahara.

In March, the temperatures and sun are so mild that you will not need suntan lotion at all in Sousse. It's not until about late April to mid May (depending on the weather for any particular year) that you have to start worrying about suntan lotion here in Tunisia in Sousse.

If you are taking an excursion to the Sahara for two days though then yes you will need suntan lotion, and a hat for that. I suggest bringing (or buying) a nice light straw hat that will shade your face and neck.

Yes, definitely.
Also wear a hat. Tunisia has a Mediterranean/desert climate and the sun will be bright at that time if not very hot. Even off the beach put a good factor suncream on your face and top up a couple of times in the day.
Better safe than sorry

I was there in august 2 years ago and it was very hot. You would be better to check the average temperatures for march on the net. I didnt go to the sahara but 2 friends did and they liked it but you had to get up at 5am on the second day to see the sunrise and you had to pay for the camels. Most of the trip is on a bus-they didnt say that in the brochure!

yes you do need suntan lotion for Tunisia especially if you go into the Sahara ( hot during the day, cold at night )
but in all honesty, going to Tunisia is a big mistake, the country is a complete s**t hole, the food is very very bad, don't drink the tap water, never barter with the locals as they will never leave you alone ....
personally,i would get a refund and go some where nice and not Tunisia ( yes i have been there )
