How much is my taxi likely to cost from Monastir airport to Sousse?

Just a rough idea please

I live in Monastir and it will depend on where you are going. The hotel you will stay at may even offer free shuttle service so look into that.

Normally the price will cost you more if you take a yellow taxi because they are done for short distances in the city. Your best bet is to get a luage (white taxi with a red or blue strip). They will cost less, maybe around 5TDN.

But like I said, most hotels in Sousse will offer a free shuttle service from the airport here in Monastir if you ask them.

If I can be of any more help, feel free to let me know

about a tenner!

WE STOPPED AT SKANES AND IT COST US ABOUT THREE QUID, SO YOU MUST BE TALKING FIVE OR SIX QUID.

i worked in tunisa as a rep firstly agree a price with the driver before you set off. i would say about four or five quid, cant remember the amount in dinar, ask a rep at the airport but dont let the driver charge you more than you agree

It might be cheapest to get a luage into the bus station(which will cost you pennies) and then take the yellow taxi to your hotel (about three pounds) but people, especially the luage drivers, will try there luck so watch out for that and budget around 5 pounds(any more and you're being taken for a ride)!!!

Hi loadsaluv.. Hi everybody..!
Well taxis cabs are available at Monastir Airport, so are "the louage",you can also use the electric train to down town sousse(depending on your time arrival) if you have only carry-on luggage.
The fees you have to pay for the taxi will be what's on the meeter, and that's all (you know already that you should use Tun.Dinars, you may exchange your Sterling's at the airport.)So the amount will be according to the distance (different rate after 9:00 P.M about 50% +,they also may charge you 1/2 dinar for 1 each peace of luggage.) the rough idea will be between 5 to 10 Tun.Dinars) less if you will take a " louage" (with other people going to the same destination)
But if you have booked through a travel agency you have to check at the airport up on arrival with your rep or the hotel rep.if your transfer is included, you'll have a free trsfr.
Welcome to Tunisia, and have an enjoyable holidays in Sousse.
