Has anyone been to Tunisia Skanes in March, what is the weather like? What clothes should we take?

any suggestions on places to go in Skanes tunisia

I live in Monastir (Skanes is a subdivision in Monastir) and the weather in March is usually like spring in America. You have warm days mixed with some chilly ones. Average temperatures are between 18-23掳C (64-73掳F) and there may be some rain.

Here's a sight that gives average high, lows, and precipitations for Monastir: http://weather.yahoo.com/climo/TSXX0015_...

I suggest bringing some long sleeved shirts (not too hot), some pants, a sweater or a light jacket, and an umbrella.

The nights are chilly due to the humidity which makes the cold go straight to the bone and makes it feel colder than it really is, so I suggest bringing something warm to sleep in at nights.

Monastir is beautiful! I have some pictures of it in my photo album if you would like to see them to see the non-touristicy side of Monastir.

I lived in Sousse,Tunisia (about 20 minutes north of Monastir/Skanes) for a year, and it was amazing!!
Tunisia in March doesn't sound like it would be that cold, and temperature-wise, it's not. It's usually in the 40's or 50's (Fahrenheit). The only problem is the humidity from the Mediterranean. The cold can get into your bones. Bring some warm stuff like sweaters and jackets, and enjoy!!
