Contact the administration of the site your grandfather was buried at (North African American Cemetery And Memorial). They should be able to give you all details of what you will need in order to process your request. You can get more help for this by visiting http://www.abmc.gov/home.php I went there one year for Memorial Day, but I forget the contact info to give you, sorry. I do know that they are not too far from the US Embassy though.

You could also try contacting the American Embassy in Tunis for help.

So he's from the future?

Let me get this straight....

Your grandfather died in WW 11. I'm assuming that WW 11 will not be fought for at LEAST 1,000 years. So your grandfather died probably around the year 3,000.

So apparently time-travel exists in the future and you have come back to our time. Now you want to move your grandfathers remains. But your grandfather won't be dead for another 1,000 years. So right now, in our time, the place where your grandfather will be buried is currently empty. Therefore you cannot move his remains.

I would advise you to contact the American Embassy and the cemetery as well. I have visited the cemetery in Tunisia and it is quite exquisite (and those in charge of it are more than willing to help on many matters). I wish you all the best.
