It is another amusement pak and offers lots of fun. There is one ride on there that is extremely fun, but not for the faint of heart! I've been on it - it takes you high in the air, and turns you every which way, and even stops and let you dangle for a bit.

There is an International Diving Center at Port El Kantaoui, which is open all year.

The Medina in Sousse is a place to visit because of it's historical value, and because you can find a lot of nice things at reasonable prices.

There are many small stores, and shopping centers in Sousse, and two major ones are Tej Marhaba and Slim Center.

There are also many cafes throught the city.

The beaches are nice and pristine. The hotels also offer extras such as horseback riding, wind surfing, para sailing, etc. for an extra fee.

The Great Mosque is a surprisingly tranquil place despite its location in the middle of the city. You must be properly dressed to enter, but green wraps can be rented for a token fee to cover up.

The Mosaic Museum, in the gently crumbling old kasbah on the edge of the medina is also worth a look.

The Ribat is good to visit because this is what was used for defense in olden times.

There are also Catacombs that are nice to see if you like history.

I hope I helped you out, and if you have any other questions, feel free to contact me.

This Hotel rocks!!!
One of the best holidays I have experienced.
The hotel has great facililies including water slides, private beach area and is great for families.
The rooms are all heated and air conditioned and have terrace or balcony, bath room, telephone, fridge and Satellite TV which you need to request.
Food menus are rotated fortnightly with buffet style and there are two snack bars around the pool. Bars and lounges include a lobby bar, an American Bar, a grill bar, a snack barbecue, and a beach bar.
There are two outside swimming pools with water-slides, an indoor heated swimming pool, sports room, sauna, jacuzzi, massage room, health centre, games room, 4 tennis courts, 1 football pitch, 1 basket ball ground, 1 French bowls runway, 1 mini golf course. At the beach, you can try wind surfing, pedaloes, jet-ski and paragliding. For the children there is a mini club, children鈥檚 play ground and Disney films every evening.

HAVE FRIENDS THER NOW , SO GIVE US A WEEK AND WILL LET YOU KNOW

port el kantaoui is beautiful its like a picture postcard in at the marina you get a lovely cold glass of freshly squeezed orange juice .lovely!!!

Its great and very hot. Lots of flies though and also lots of beggars, I was a sucker for the children holding out their hands, needless to say my family did not have presents as I had given the money away... lol

It's a great place but I'd like to give you a tip. Local people, usually teenagers or in their twenties, get commission from shops for bringing you in. Their story usually goes, "HI, I'm Muhammad, the waiter at your hotel, are you going to the fete/carnival/dance/etc? Come with me, I'll show you. Come on." You enter the shop with that person and it will be difficult to get out without buying something. A useful response is "I have to go to the bank right now. Sorry, I can't come with you."

I didn't, but I would love to.

Some panoramic images from the area at this link: http://www.360travelguide.com/listimage.... - just click on the thumbnails. Have fun!

I lived there for four months with my tunisian boyfriend, I was at port el kantoui everyday. Nice place, but too touristy after a while, they just wanna take your money there. We stayed in the orient palace right outside of port el kantoui when I went the first time. The beaches there are beautiful and the food is delicious, I don't know where else you plan to go in Tunisia but you should definitely try to get a tour of tatooine in the sahara. I would love to go back anytime, have fun.

Yes i often go there....that's really great, you will really enjoy yourself

Good luck!
