Hi,tunisia help needed??? |
does anyone no if the tej maharba hotel has a scuba diving centre? has anyone any suggestions for port el kantoui hotels which are good, we are looking at 4 or 5 star?? The hotel does not have it's own scuba diving center, per say. For that you usually have to go to the Marina, in this case, the Port El Kantoui. If that fails, there is a scuba diving center in the Marina of Monastir (where I live) which is 30 minutes away. useful information tourists build them at : www.TravelTunisia.net . You should participate as Tunisian to give the right information about your lovely country. theres a good website called 'holidays uncovered'. It has reports from real visitors. Another one is 'trip advisor' much the same kind of site. I've found them very accurate in the past. I couldn't find a web site for the Maharba, but the following link might be a good general place to start your search about Tunisia: just got back from tunisia, the tej marharba, belongs to a group of Marharba hotels (stayed in the Marharba Beach Club next to the tej), didn't notice any diving of any sort, try port el kantoui (marharba hotels was excellent though! highly recommended!) Bestr hotel in Kantoui is the Hotel Kanta. It is only 3 star but deserves to be considered four star at least. Staff are kind and helpful. Restaurant excellent and pool enormous. Two beautiful bars. Air conditioning, satellite tv and balcony in all rooms. Private transport to the beach. Stayed 2 weeks last year and cannot say anything bad about the place. |
