How was Your Eid?

How was your Eid? What did you do and/or where did you go?

We had a good day. We almost lost our sheep though! We had our sheep downstairs in the closed driveway of the neighbors. They wanted to move their car that was in there (because that is where both of our families slaughter the sheep). I didn't see how it happened, but a little bit after they opened the carport door, our sheep took off running and the neighbors son went running after it! My husband got in the car and followed. They were finally able to corner the sheep about a MILE from the home - the sheep ran himself into a closed off alley, my husband blocked his exit with the car, and they were able to grab him and put him in the car and bring him back home. After we got him back, we tied up his legs so he couldn't escape again. He was a feisty sheep! He had horns and before he escaped he was trying to buck everyone and almost hurt my son. He turned out to be very good though because we were able to get a LOT of meat from him.

Avec mes meilleurs souhaits et mes sinc茅res respects de tout mon coeur pour vous et votre famille. Eidkom Mubarak!
