Can Jamaicans apply for a Tourist Visa on arrival in Thailand?

I am a Jamaican living and working with the United Nations in Lebanon and would like to visit Thailand on my vacation.There is no Embassy for Thailand in Lebanon.I am also the holder of a UN Passport.

Jamaicans are not allowed to apply for visa on arrival. You will need visa before hand.

However as you are holding a UN passport, I will suggest that you contact the nearest consul to you for advice:

You should know the rules and regulations associated with holding a UN passport. If your Jamaican passport is designated for government use, then you should be allowed to obtain a VOA. Thailand continually updates their policies and procedures, and the answer to any question like this is likely to change daily.

Furthermore, if you travelled to Lebanon on the UN passport, you must leave Lebanon with that passport as well. Your exit visa and entrance visa must be in the same passport.

Finally, any employee of the UN should refer all inquiries about travel to their superiors, your boss will have more answers for you than anyone on here, myself included.
