How 2 travel 2 sukhumvit from airport without taking a taxi.?

How 2 travel 2 sukhumvit from airport without taking a taxi.?

Everyone is right here, except they overlook the point that the skytrain stop running at midnight along with most buses. So please kept that in mind when making your transportation.

From the terminal, catch a shuttle bus to the Transport Center. then catch Bus No.552 which goes to the On-Nut sky train station via Bangna-Bangpakong Road and Sukhumvit Road until the On-Nut sky train station. If necessary, catch the BTS skytrain to the section of Sukhumvit Road you want to get to.

Refer to this web page: http://www.bangkokairportonline.com/node...

FYI, if you have a luggage, it wouldn't be good to use a normal bus (especially during rush hour) because the bus doesn't have a room for placing luggage. However, if you have only a carry-on or a small bag, I think it's fine.
Here is another option, you can use an airport bus. As mentioned in this website (http://www.into-asia.com/bangkok/airport... you can use bus route no. AE-3.

Two people taking a meter taxi from the Suvarnabhumi Airport will be about the same price as two people taking the AIRPORT EXPRESS bus.

The Airport Express Bus (leaves directly from the terminal) will be 150 baht per pax. The meter taxi sign up desk is just outside the arrivals hall near the curb. The price for a meter taxi includes a 50 baht surcharge, possibly 2 tolls amounting to 65 baht and the meter fare. Most of the time the total price is around 350 baht. This is to the Sukhumvit Road Soi 11 area!

Where on Sukhumvit Road are you going? Sukhumvit Road is a long road. The most popular area is closer to the low number end soi 2 through soi 19.

I like the Airport Express bus, used to take it all the time from old Don Muang. The new airport is way out in the sticks now and the bus has to travel through a lot of traffic now with lots of stop and go traffic. The Airport Express bus will take around twice as long as a meter taxi. The Airport Express bus will not be available after 1130 PM.

Same for city bus, long ride but cheap at 35 baht! At On Nut you can switch to the Skytrain or take a cheap meter taxi from there. Only pay the meter fare when using a taxi in town, it is cheaper than bargaining the ride! (Cheaper than tuk-tuks too!)

From Suvarnabhumi Airport take the free shuttle to the Airport Bus Station.

Take Number 552 SA to On Nut BTS station (35 baht $1) (Sky Train) take the Skytrain to Nana (20 Baht $.60) exit at BTS. That will be Sukhumvit and Soi 3. Sukhumvit is a long road so it depend on where on Sukhumvit you want to go.
