Anybody been to the Indra Regent Hotel?

I am going over there in a few days and want to know if anybody else has been there before and what did you think of it?

I have stayed there several times.

It is NOT a first class hotel but it is OK. It really depends on what your expectations are. Generally - you get what you pay for. Some people may say that Indra is terrible while some will find it is quite comfortable. I found it ok for the price I paid. It certainly was comfortable for me and food was decent enough - for Thai hotel standard.

Go to this site and look at the listing of hotels.
http://www.sawadee.com
Just about every hotel listed has a page of review written by people from everywhere who actually stayed there. It is pretty unbiased but you also need to "read between the lines" a bit because there are people who will never be happy and will complain about everything anyway - or expect Thailand to be like their country.

Location is great for clothes shopping!!!

Hope this helps.

Never stayed at the Indra Regent because I live here, but below is a link to 85 reviews from people who have stayed there. Check them out.

Yes stayed at Indra Regent on two occassions with my family. Very good hotel, good breakfast, convenient location.

I paid for the hotel but checked out after 1 hour and found somewhere else, it stinks - hotels like Nasa Vegas are brand new clean and lovely for only 600 Thai Baht

If you love staying with a bunch of Nigerians and banglas then go there! dont say I did not warn you about the fungal smelling rooms
