How much time to go by taxi from sukhumvit airport to donmueang airport?

How much time to go by taxi from sukhumvit airport to donmueang airport?

It's about 45 km. or so between the airports depending on traffic it's about 45 minutes to an hour trip. By taxi figure around 350 to 400 baht or so including airport fee of 50 baht and tolls which you pay. Whatever you do only take a meter taxi don't bother with the guys inside the airport asking if you need a taxi they will charge two times the price of a meter taxi. Just go out door 7 from the second floor your see people in Q. Even a long line goes fast so don't worry.

I've made the trip a few times myself. It varies with traffic, but generally 45 to 60 minutes.

Also, you want to take a metered taxi. When you come out of the airport, there will be private taxi drivers bombarding you and telling you they can take you there for 1,000 baht. Don't pay this! Ignore them and keep walking outside. Outside you will find the metered taxi service, it's a "governmental" service and the fee will run you about 500 baht. Also, you are expected to pay the highway toll fees between the two airports, which will cost you about 120 baht if I recall correctly, so have some small bills on you for this.

Cater at least 30-45 mins to travel between the 2 places. Using the ring road, you actually bypass the city centre or else it could have been a longer trip.

you mean suvannabumi? btw, it is pronounced, "suwanapoom"

and, I'd allow 2 hours most of the time...other than middle of the night (after 11 PM, before 7 am)

Sukhumvit is a boulevard in Bankok. Suvarnabhumi is the
Airport. Assuming your going from Airport to Airport...
Here's another option. Go outside and get on the shuttle and go to the Suvarnabhumi bus terminal. Take Bus Number 554 - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Don Muang Airport (Expressway) standard 35 baht fare. What鈥檚 particularly nice about the public bus transportation service is that it is available twenty-four hours a day.

There are two airports in Bangkok. Don Muang is the old airport (DMK.) Suvarnabhumi (BKK) is the new airport.

Like the previous post said - Sukhumvit is a road with many side streets off of it. Is your question how long does it take to go from a hotel off Sukhumvit Road to Don Muang or what? What hotel, what soi (street) number?

OR

How long it takes to go between the two airports depends on time of day and traffic conditions. I would allow at least an hour for the ride between the two airports. You also have to be there at least an hour before a local flight, that's after you arrive and find the right airline.

If you are flying in and then flying out a much better idea is to spend a couple days in Bangkok, see the city, get used to the heat, etc. And then head to somewhere else!

If you are immediately flying out to a beach keep in mind that even in Bangkok or cities further north you can still get a suntan because the weather is "summer like" all year long!

Good day.

It depends on the time of day anywhere between 45 to 70 mins. When you get a taxi look for a NEW one these go faster since it is normally not their car and new cars are popular so tend not to want to hang around getting more money for waiting time in a taxi. They also tend not to ripe you off and speak better English.
