Do I need a visa to visit Thailand Next Month?

Sorry not the Credit Card...I mean an enterence visa.

If you are from the USA, UK, EU, you get an automatic visa upon entering the country. Nothing has to be applied for. The USA visa is good for 30 days.
If you plan to stay longer, then you apply for a 60 day visa at the Thai Embassy., OR, leave the country and come back in giving you another 30 day visa. For longer stays, or immigration there are different types of visas, but the 30 day one works for most.
PS, if you do want to leave the country and come right back, there are Air Asia flights all over, and CHEAP, or a drive to Cambodia is set up by tour operators on a daily basis for visa "runs".

Yes because it is accepted everywhere and it converts dollars to yanns

You need a visa to go any where out of the country.

Visa as in credit card? That's up to you. I'm sure many places will take a visa credit card. If you are taking about a visa that people get to move to certain areas, then no. But you will need a passport to get into the country and you will need on to get back into the USA. From what I have heard, certain foregin countries are easier to get into with a passport, but getting back in the USA will be a big hassle- they will detain you, question, etc etc etc. So make sure to have a passport. Have fun!

No, you don't need a visa just to visit. My daughter just left for Thailand this morning! She will be there for a week. She works for the government so is up on all those rules. All you need is your passport.
Have fun! :)

It depends on which country you're from, many people need a visa and people from quite a few countries don't need a visa, you can check this website to see if you do or not and if there any other requirements necessary:
http://www.thaiembdc.org/index.htm

Depends on the country you come from.

If you are from the US, UK, Canada, Oz, NZ and many European countries you can get a free 30 day "entry permission stamp" in your passport on arrival!

What is your nationality? Visa is necessary for some countries and waived for some too. This depends on the Govt-to-Govt agreement. Cannot help much unless you are willing to tell more.
But Thailand do grant tourist pass for a 30-day visa free pass on arrival for majority of the countries.

You will get a visa on arrival. It will be valid for 28, 29 or 30 days depending on the when the last time the date stamp was changed by the immigration officer who stamps your passport. The number of countries that require a visa in advance of travel to the kingdom is relatively small, and based on command of the English language and time of posting, I would assume you are from a country that is granted a visa on arrival.

Foriegn nationals seldom have problems getting into the kingdom. Every foriegner is viewed as a source of income and welcomed here.

Make sure while you are here to obey the local laws, and don't do anything silly. Enjoy yourself and have a great time.

Anyone here who told you that you don't need a visa maybe wrong. It all depends on the country you hold a passport with.

you dont need a visa to go to thailand for a maxium of 30 days, after that time you need a visa to extend your time there.
so basically upto 30 days ok, after that you need 1.
