What to see and do in Bangkok?
I'm going to stay there for two weeks together with my fiance!
We are going to visit some friends of us, but they work in Bangkok so they don't have time guiding us around.
We are going to stay near by Baioyoke.

Stayed in BKK many many times Your staying in a very busy area watch out for traffic :)) Check internet really and places to go are Temples a river cruise is nice Shopping will take a lot of your time Patpong for the experience of Markets etc Pretty much the same as any big city I have Thai GF so I see it from a different view as a tourist Just have a great time and go with the flow I have never had a problem Thai people are always lovely Taxis always ask for Meter is what most people say Same for taxis everywhere and I live in UK so not much to worry

Bangkok is wonderful. Just about anything you want to do, you can. Lovely shopping. Stay away from the tourist shops though, do all your shopping from the street vendors or in their arcades. Don't forget to barter. It is imperative that you do. Go for a tuk-tuk-ride, barter with them and taxis also before you get in, otherwise it will cost you a fortune to go one block. Go to the temples, see the jade buddah, see the floating markets, the list is endless. I would love to go back there, will one day, but not this year.

Hi, depends on your interests there can be much to see, experience and shop while in Bangkok. It is a whole new culture if you had not experience Thailand before. Look at this site for the attractions in Bangkok:

Shopping is awesome there, Bangkok is also called shopping capital of the world there are many things that you can buy from there, at very low prices.

Tour agents are located at every major hotel in Bangkok. Check them out and look at the tours they offer. Like the temples, River Kiwi, Rose Garden, Floating Market, and boat trip up on the river.
