Krabi thailand...what do u think?

i am going to thailand in september for the third time and want to go to krabi. ive been to phi phi island and love it there, does krabi have the same sort of feel as phi phi and what are the locals like? also heard alot about Koh Lanta......is it nice there and whats there to do?

Krabi has some nice limestone formations and is a good place to use a stepping stone to other places...Au Nang and Railey are great places to check out....Railey is cut off fromm outside by large cliffs and can only be reached by boat.. It;s a bit like Phi Phi but attached to the mainland ( bit pricey).. I spent a few days in Krabi got a bit bored and end up going to Au Nang and Railey... good luck.. chock dee

I love Krabi
I ever been there threee times already

Still in memory.
I love Ao Nang Beach, I went to the islands around.

Basically I like Krabi more than Phuket, but most foreinger mostly are know Phuket. If you thinking about pure and still natural resource, Krabi is better (In my opinion) ^_^

Krabi is a great place for relaxation and exploration. There are many caves around you can go kayaking in. Many islands around for day trips. Phi Phi is very nice and part of Krabi province. It is small but can do some quiet snorkeling, walk up on the hilltop for a fantastic view and go visit the nearby island that was made famous by the movie, "The Beach." I am planning a trip to Krabi myself in May.
