I want to move to thailand wheres a good place to move where its pretty cheap. i have about 10k saved? |
I work at a bank would i be about to find employment Your chances of getting a job at a bank are slim and none. Thailand (as are most countries) is very protective of it's job market, and basically if a Thai is capable of doing the job, then the job is not open to foreigners. Either work for a foreign company that has operations in Thailand, teach English or opening your own business are your best options. It's also not easy to move here without a work permit, a retirement visa, or without a lot more money than 10K. Check out websites like thaivisa.com or the Thai Embassy website of the country you live in, you'll see what kind of requirements are necessary. Sometimes just coming over and meeting the right people can give you some opportunities, but I wouldn't count on it. Good luck. I very much doubt you will get a job in a bank. Teaching English or setting up your own company is about all you can do. Personally I hate BKK but love many other cities in Thailand. My favourite being Rayong. |
