Convenient travel from bangkok to phuket?

i could fly but if it would be much more cheaper for 4 of us ( 2 kids - so it should be easy ) to go by train, please give me the train schedule and cost.

Maybe bus schedule as well

Sorry but no train goes directly to Phuket. If you want you can take a bus from the southern bus station called in Thai Sai Die Mai, or get with a travel agent when you arrive in Thailand they will set it up for you. Cost from the southern bus station to Phuket is about 900 baht give or take, it will take about 12 hours. If you take the VIP bus at night 24 or 32 passenger you will arrive the next morning.

There are very frequent buses, I think. Check the website of Phuket tourism.

there are low costs airlines than fly, www.airasia.com and www.tigerairways.com www.nokair.com

I think Air Asia is best, this is cheap about 60 GBP return although you can get cheaper by train / bus it is the time it takes the kids to get board.
