Do you know anything about health, science, or technology in Thailand (mainly bangkok)..??

I'm doing research on thailand and there isnt much on the topics.
a) health
b) science
c) technology
d) natural resources

if you know anything.. please help, any and all info is greatly appreciated!

a) health: The country has lots of number of good hospital with world class doctors that many wealthy middle-easterners travel to Bangkok just for the purpose of medication. The previous government was trying to make Bangkok become health care hub in the region because of its high standard of hospitals and doctors and for the less cost than in Europe and the US.

General public health care is of a quite good standard and from time to time the public is granted free or very cheap access to medication depending on the government's policy.

b) science: Somehow not very advance even as compared to China.. Definitely far behind Europe, US and Japan.

c) technology: Ditto

d) natural resources: Quite abundon in term of naturual gas, resources from the sea, and if you count also human resources with high quality. Well, I am one! :)

Thats because they don't have interest in theese things.

Many westerners go to Thailand for elective surgery and surgeries of many sorts. The prices are far below those in USA. This is good for those many millions without comprehensive.insurance. The same doctors may have practiced in the US the year before.

I went to Christian Hospital in BK and was impressed with and trusted the service .

Bye,
