Injection of what? Do you need to be immunized against any 'strange' Asian disease? No. I have traveled extensively throughout Thailand, I live and work here, as well. I have been bitten by mosquitoes, spiders, a sewer rat, and a few other creepy-crawlies.

The answer to your question is NO. To get into Thailand you do not need any type of injection. The US State department gives a list of 'recommended' immunizations (I think Typhoid and Tetanus -spelling?), but nothing is mandatory.

Don't listen to people who try to scare you with stories about disease and so on. The medical system here is far better than you might think.

Also, when you check with your doctor you "ensure"... if you want to "insure" something, check with an insurance company.

there is no malaria vaccine, but DO get the typhoid, and HEPATITIS A and B. The hepatitis shots are good for 10 years. I saw a lot of yellow eyes in thailand, yellow eyes as in liver damage from hepatitis which is quite prevalent in thailand.
